About the position
As an Environmental Services (EVS) Representative at Deaconess Hospital, you will be integral to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. This role supports the hospital's healing mission through effective cleaning and disinfecting practices, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The position offers hands-on training and does not require prior experience, making it accessible for entry-level candidates.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all areas of the hospital.
- Transport waste to designated collection and disposal points.
- Assist with furniture movement and event setups as needed.
- Operate UV light equipment for disinfection purposes.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
