The Experienced Caregiver position at TheKey involves providing high-quality companionship and home care services to aging seniors in Simsbury, CT, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care plans and daily living assistance, while also ensuring a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Complete Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a safe and professional manner
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
• Perform administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiver experience
• Proof of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, registration, and a reliable vehicle
• Open availability strongly preferred
• Basic Computer Skills
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
