About The Position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all food and beverage operations at the Hilton Phoenix Airport. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality service and products while ensuring profitability within the department. The supervisor will also be involved in marketing initiatives, employee management, budget adherence, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a 4-year college degree with 3 years of related experience, or a 2-year college degree with 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, and liquor laws.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

  • Experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all F&B personnel.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Participate in F&B budget forecasting and monitor department performance.
  • Monitor industry trends and take appropriate action to maintain competitive operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F&B department.
  • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
  • Participate in department inventories and prepare inventory reports for accounting.
  • Organize and conduct regular department meetings.
  • Monitor quality of service and product.
  • Cooperate in menu planning and preparation.
  • Ensure timely purchase of F&B items within budget allocation.
  • Oversee operations of the employee cafeteria.
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with SOPs and provide training on them.
  • Interview candidates for F&B positions and follow hiring standards.
  • Attend and conduct required meetings, including pre- and post-convention meetings.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
