About the position

The Bi-Lingual Field Recruiter at Ashley Furniture Industries plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources team by driving candidate flow and developing strategies to meet staffing needs. This position involves engaging with the community, utilizing social media, and organizing job fairs to attract potential candidates. The recruiter will also be responsible for pre-screening applicants, informing them about job details, and assisting in the hiring process, all while embodying the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Drive candidate flow through various means to meet staffing needs.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies in collaboration with the business.
  • Attend community events to reach out to potential candidates.
  • Build relationships to expand the candidate network.
  • Utilize social media and creative methods for candidate outreach.
  • Lead and organize local and industry job fairs and career events.
  • Source qualified candidates through various recruiting resources.
  • Outreach to candidates via email, text, and phone calls to assess interest and schedule interviews.
  • Post job openings on free sites and ensure marketing materials are visible in the market.
  • Interview job applicants to pre-screen for qualifications and gather work history information.
  • Inform applicants about job details, compensation, benefits, and promotion opportunities.
  • Match applicants with job requirements and refer qualified candidates to managers for interviews.
  • Assist in the hiring process and related paperwork.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, and/or public relations.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
