About the position

The Field Service & Sales Technician role at Vivint Smart Home involves providing expert installation and service of smart home technology. Technicians will maximize their earning potential through service and installation appointments, while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level installation and services of smart home technology.
• Maximize earning potential by converting service and installation appointments into leads.
• Conduct safety analyses of homes to ensure a safe workplace for both technicians and customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain honesty and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Sales experience in car sales, retail sales, insurance sales, B2C sales, or call center experience.
• Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to thrive in both team environments and independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a technical field or sales role.
• Familiarity with smart home products and technology.
