About the position

The Field Service Technician role involves performing general and preventative maintenance and repair of CNC machines and manufacturing equipment for customers primarily across North America, with occasional travel to Canada. This position offers a unique opportunity for extensive travel, including training in Italy, and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in CNC operations or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Travel to customer locations across North America and occasionally Canada for service and repairs.
• Demonstrate mechanical ability and troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.
• Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to assist in repairs.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and updates.

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC operator/set-up experience or 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Professional communication skills and a quick learning aptitude.
