About the position

The Field Services Technician role at Vivint involves providing expert-level installation and service of smart home technology. Technicians will maximize their earning potential through installation appointments and lead generation, while ensuring customer satisfaction through honest and reliable service. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, uncapped commission, and comprehensive training, making it ideal for motivated individuals with a knack for technology and sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level installation and service of smart home technology.
• Maximize earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
• Conduct safety analyses of homes to ensure a safe workplace for both technicians and customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support during installations and service calls.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Sales experience in car sales, retail sales, insurance sales, B2C sales, or call center experience.
• Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to thrive in both team environments and independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in technology or smart home products.
