About the position
The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. This position requires a highly analytical individual who can leverage financial systems to extract and report on financial performance metrics, providing valuable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for all Sterigenics SG&A, collaborating with department heads to gather inputs, analyze trends, and develop financial projections.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and accounting to report on minimum agreement contracts to ensure proper enforcement and accurate reporting.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and decision-making processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, explaining variances and identifying corrective actions as needed.
- Support senior management and department heads with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for executive and board meetings, providing clear and concise explanations of financial results and forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Working knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
- Experience with Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management Tool) and PowerBI preferred
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software)
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
