About the position

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Diesel, Trailer, and Transport Refrigeration Technicians to join their fleet service team. The role focuses on providing comprehensive fleet maintenance and refrigeration solutions, ensuring optimal performance levels for transportation operations while maintaining cargo integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, trucks, and APU units.
• Conduct general repairs on trucks including coolant system, fuel system, electrical system, drive train, brakes, and suspension.
• Replace brakes on trucks and trailers.
• Repair trailer ABS brake systems.
• Conduct FHWA inspections on trailers.
• Perform tire replacement, mounting, dismounting, flat repairs, and balancing.
• Carry out body, structural, rear door, and electrical repairs on trailers.
• Perform interior and exterior trailer washes.
• Service and repair APU units.
• Meet standard repair times for jobs performed.
• Perform road service work.
• Service and repair company vehicles.
• Operate company and customer vehicles, forklifts, hoists, and tools.
• Maintain a clean shop environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
• Must hold a clean and valid driver's license.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.

Nice-to-haves

• ASE certifications in Brakes, Suspension, and PMs.
