About the position

The Framing Manager is responsible for leading and coaching a team of framers to build customer relationships and drive custom framing sales. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, managing inventory, and delivering high-quality custom framing solutions to customers. The Framing Manager also participates in talent development and performance management activities while serving as Manager on Duty (MOD).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and drive custom framing sales.
• Assist Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to ensure timely delivery of custom framing solutions.
• Achieve personal and team KPIs related to framing sales and production.
• Manage inventory processes and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Participate in performance management activities and utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and team performance.
• Engage in customer service by acknowledging customers and providing solutions.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a public retail store setting.
• Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with some outdoor tasks.
