About the position

The Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at the Speech Improvement Center. This full-time role requires a dynamic individual who is vibrant, motivated, and capable of multitasking while maintaining strong attention to detail. The receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Schedule appointments and manage the front desk calendar
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
  • Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries or concerns promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Assign appropriate providers to each child
  • Initial entry of accurate child records in database
  • Verifying commercial insurance coverage and benefits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong customer service, organization, prioritizing, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to meet challenging goals and deadlines
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Fluency in Spanish
