About the position

The Gas Station Attendant is responsible for the daily operations of the gas station, ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards while providing exceptional service to members. This part-time role involves monitoring equipment, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and assist members as needed.
• Ensure safety of people, property, and environment during gas station transactions.
• Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness standards of restrooms and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting and perform checklist procedures.
• Document and address identified issues accurately.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures accurately.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee the fuel delivery process and perform required preparation procedures.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and security standards.
• Inform management of any alarms present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures including cash deposit and verification.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted prices match the POS system.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled material procedures for immediate response and cleanup.
• Log all visitors and obtain proper ID before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify corporate office of any non-routine maintenance vendor visits.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• At least 18 years of age.
