About The Position

The General Production role at JELD-WEN involves working as part of a manufacturing team to produce high-quality doors and windows. Team members will operate machinery, assemble products, inspect quality, and handle materials, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production process. Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally team lift anything exceeding 50 pounds
• Standing for the duration of shifts
• Bending at times

Responsibilities

• Operate small and large machines in the production of doors and windows
• Work on door and window assembly lines
• Inspect all products for quality
• Machine products for hardware installation
• Prepare and handle materials
• Stage and package finished products for delivery
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
• Work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demands
