Responsibilities
- Fabricate used wire rope sling assemblies
- Measure, cut and prepare used wire for fabrication
- Gather, count and assemble hardware and inventory for orders
- Operate forklifts to unload trucks and stock incoming inventory
- Organize, prepare, and count outgoing shipments and load trucks
- Maintain property and facility cleanliness and general upkeep
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Experience in a warehouse environment is desired
- General knowledge of the marine industry
- Ability to work within a team environment and follow written and oral directions
- Ability to work independently with personal discipline
- Effective communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with co-workers and customers
- Moral integrity and a desire to continuously learn and grow
- Pass background check and drug testing before and during employment
