About the position

The Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist at Spring Hills is responsible for creating visually appealing graphics and managing the company's social media presence. This role combines creativity with technical skills in videography and video editing to enhance the company's brand and engage with the community. The position requires in-person attendance at the corporate office in Edison, NJ, and focuses on collaboration with the marketing team to develop innovative content strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print materials, including marketing collateral, advertisements, and presentations.
  • Manage and grow the company's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, showcasing our community culture and programs.
  • Develop innovative content strategies that align with brand goals and resonate with our audience.
  • Ensure all designs and content align with the company's branding and messaging standards.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to develop creative solutions that drive engagement and awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, social media management, and video production/editing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn), videography equipment, and editing tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and social media management tools.
  • Experience building a personal or professional social media presence.
