About The Position

The Guest Lead at Altar'd State plays a crucial role in supporting store management by directing activities to achieve store goals, including exceptional guest service, sales objectives, and effective merchandising. This position focuses on building relationships with guests, providing product knowledge, and maintaining a clean store environment, all while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and squatting frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support management in achieving store goals including guest service and sales objectives.
• Provide exceptional service to guests through relationship building and product knowledge sharing.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of store managers.
• Develop team members to accomplish business objectives through coaching and motivation.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues effectively, involving management when necessary.
• Communicate clearly with all levels of the team and hold self and employees accountable for financial results.
• Manage conflict and coach associates using company standards and guidelines.
• Foster team commitment through support and recognition of individual contributions.
• Build relationships with guests to create loyalty and consistently receive positive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with Altar'd State values and operational standards.
