About the position

The Health System Director role at TSP (A Syneos Health Company) involves leading strategic account management within a top 10 Global Pharmaceutical Company. The position focuses on building and managing relationships with key stakeholders in organized provider accounts, ensuring effective engagement and access to healthcare solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to shape and execute strategic account plans, monitor market trends, and provide insights to optimize performance in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the strategic account plan across the enterprise in collaboration with the Organized Provider Account Lead (OPAL).
  • Lead the execution of the strategic account plan.
  • Coordinate account management with OPAL, Market Access, and Business Unit partners to identify opportunities for improved access.
  • Ensure integration and on-label access within account-level decision-making platforms such as EMRs and formulary tools.
  • Maintain a fundamental clinical knowledge of the enterprise portfolio and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed of client policies to ensure compliance and adherence to risk frameworks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize the execution of the strategic account plan.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activities to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in market access and/or account management in the life sciences industry.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 50-60%.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA and/or advanced clinical/science degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in understanding the workings of regional payers and large contracted customers, mid-size PBMs, and coalitions.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed environment influencing multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven history of taking initiative to achieve goals with demonstrated performance.
  • Proven account selling skills and ability to grow business through strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to apply Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) in unstructured situations.
  • Experience working within the framework of patient privacy laws including HIPAA.
