About the position
The Health System Director will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer-centric strategies within a top 10 Global Pharmaceutical Company. This position focuses on building and managing relationships with key stakeholders in organized provider accounts, ensuring effective engagement and access to healthcare solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to shape strategic account plans and drive demand at the enterprise level, while maintaining compliance and optimizing execution based on market trends.
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategic account plan in collaboration with the Organized Provider Account Lead (OPAL) and lead its execution.
- Coordinate account management with OPAL, Market Access, and Business Unit partners to identify opportunities for improved access.
- Ensure integration and on-label access within account-level decision-making tools such as EMRs and formulary.
- Maintain a fundamental clinical knowledge of the enterprise portfolio and competitive landscape.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activities to inform strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize the execution of the strategic account plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree - BA/BS required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in market access and/or account management in the life sciences industry.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice-to-haves
- MBA and/or advanced clinical/science degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency in understanding regional payers and large contracted customers, mid-size PBMs, and coalitions.
- Experience in a highly matrixed environment influencing multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proven account selling skills and ability to grow business through strategic planning and execution.
- Experience with patient privacy laws including HIPAA.
