About the position

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school district in Wilmette, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position involves providing psychological assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support students' learning and behavioral needs during a maternity leave fill-in.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret findings related to cognitive, behavioral, mental health, and social/emotional concerns.
• Develop and implement interventions, including counseling, social skills training, behavior supports, and crisis response.
• Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to address learning and behavior needs.
• Provide consultation and planning support for student learning and behavioral challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
• Masters degree in Psychology.
• IL School Psychology Certification, Professional Educator's License (PEL).
• Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of community health resources and special education regulations.
