About the position

The Hospice Care Consultant at Gentiva Hospice plays a crucial role in educating healthcare professionals about hospice services and providing end-of-life solutions. This position emphasizes clinical excellence, compassion, and dignity, ensuring that patients and their families receive the support they need during critical times. The consultant will engage with the community, build partnerships with referral sources, and work closely with clinical and operational teams to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare professionals about hospice services.
• Provide end-of-life solutions with a focus on clinical excellence and compassion.
• Engage with the community daily to promote hospice services.
• Make phone calls and conduct presentations to current and potential referral sources.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience in hospice sales, home health sales, medical device sales, clinical liaison, RN liaison, clinical coordination, or medical sales.
• A proven track record of being a top performer in sales.
• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards clients and their families.
• Bachelor's Degree focused in Marketing or Business preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hospice or home health sales is preferred.
• Established relationships within the community.
