About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions, and compiling management reports. This role also includes performing guest service agent duties such as check-in, check-out, and reservations, while effectively communicating with management regarding any concerns or issues.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Ability to work flexible and long hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Opera (PMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions.
• Review, organize, and compile management reports on a timely basis.
• Ensure the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Perform guest services functions such as check-in, check-out, and taking reservations.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports according to hotel standards.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial information into corporate communications network.
• Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
