About the position

The Human Resources Coordinator at Vibrant Wellness is responsible for overseeing and implementing various HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role involves managing onboarding, termination procedures, full cycle recruiting, and maintaining personnel files. The HR Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for workers' compensation claims and is involved in employee relations, performance reviews, and the employee bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Process terminations and manage administrative filing.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Track and update training eligibility, scheduling, and certifications.
  • Manage employee relations and oversee the annual performance review process.
  • Administer the employee bonus program.

Requirements

  • B.A. Degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources Coordinator or similar role.
  • 1+ year of recruiting experience, including posting jobs and interviewing candidates.
  • Knowledge of HR Compliance Laws, LOA, Workers Comp, and onboarding processes.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, preferably Paylocity or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operating systems (Windows/Macintosh).
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a biotech or healthcare-related field.
  • Familiarity with additional HR software tools.
