About the position

The HR Director at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources activities, including HR consulting, talent development, performance management, training, staffing, and legal compliance. This role involves working closely with key leaders to manage culture and implement strategies that support business objectives. The HR Director will also lead a professional HR team and ensure that the organization adheres to legal requirements and best practices in employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer policies relating to all phases of human resources activity.
• Work closely with key market or state leaders to support business strategies.
• Plan and execute interventions for effective change management.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR on talent management programs.
• Organize and deliver talent review events and training experiences.
• Manage the full scope of human capital processes including workforce planning and performance reviews.
• Coordinate new employee orientation programs.
• Recruit, interview, and select employees for vacant positions.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
• Advise management on employee concerns and represent the organization at hearings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing and leading a professional HR team.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
• WSET certifications.
