About the position

The HR Director at Lennar is responsible for delivering and implementing effective HR programs to drive business results. This role serves as a strategic advisor, focusing on organizational development, employee relations, and talent acquisition. The HR Director will liaise between HR Field associates and HR operations, ensuring a positive associate experience and engagement through various initiatives. The position involves collaboration with Talent Experience to execute leadership development programs and manage succession planning, while also proactively addressing workforce planning and staff retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and implement effective programs across HR functional areas to drive business results.
  • Serve as a business partner to provide expertise in organizational and leadership development, employee relations, and talent acquisition and retention.
  • Liaise between HR Field associates and HR operations to address inquiries and concerns, including grievances and absences.
  • Manage the Associate Experience Engagement through listening sessions, pulse surveys, and focus groups.
  • Partner with Talent Experience to execute leadership development programs and performance management initiatives.
  • Conduct biannual succession planning reviews and talent review sessions with Field leaders.
  • Initiate workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with department leaders to forecast staffing needs.
  • Assist in the development and management of micro learnings for talent development.
  • Provide training and consultation to Field managers on performance management processes.
  • Engage leaders to promote early career programs and identify resources to enhance staff retention and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Human Resources Management, with business development experience preferred.
  • Experience with Recruit-to-Retire HR processes preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations principles and advanced knowledge of employment laws.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience addressing customer requests in a contact center or similar environment.
  • HRIS and Workday experience preferred.
