About the position

The HR Director at TT Electronics serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the VP General Manager and the VP Human Resources for North America. This role is pivotal in driving organizational, talent, and cultural changes to support the Cleveland business's strategic growth plan. The HR Director will lead HR operations, enhance employee experience, and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a People Strategy for the Cleveland business that aligns with strategic growth plans and HR priorities.
  • Provide HR business partnering and coaching to the VP GM and management team members.
  • Partner and coach leaders to ensure strong performance management and an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead HR operational service and improve employee experience at the Cleveland facility.
  • Identify and implement improvements to talent attraction, acquisition, onboarding, and retention processes.
  • Implement strategic workforce planning and organizational actions for future skill needs.
  • Work with the VP HR to evolve and implement competitive compensation plans.
  • Lead employee engagement and internal communications activities, creating action plans for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR information and analytics for decision-making.
  • Implement HR policies, processes, and systems effectively on site.

Requirements

  • Strong Human Resources practitioner experience with management team partnership.
  • Experience managing within federal and local employment law practices.
  • Ability to identify, plan, and lead cultural change.
  • Experience improving HR services through continuous improvement techniques.
  • Proven track record of developing skills in HR teams and line management.
  • Collaborative mindset, keen to work with others for the best solutions.
  • Comfortable in a matrix reporting structure with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations without robust processes.
  • Excellent impact and influencing ability, including coaching and feedback skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environments and working with both office and shop floor employees.
  • Experience working with unions is a plus but not required.
