About the position

We are looking for a bilingual Human Resources Specialist with expertise in New Jersey HR laws and regulations to manage various HR functions in a manufacturing environment. This role involves employee relations, payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within manufacturing and will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace for over 100 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve employee concerns to foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Handle accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on New Jersey HR laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Oversee FMLA, workers' compensation, and employee benefits, providing support and guidance to employees.
  • Conduct onboarding processes, orientations, and offboarding for new hires and departing employees.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts by conducting phone screens to identify qualified candidates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation to support compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, with a background in manufacturing required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of NJ HR laws and regulations, FMLA, workers' compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS software.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
  • Full-time employment with a Monday to Friday schedule.
