The Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1 position at the State of Ohio involves supervising Customer Service Managers and their teams, ensuring timely and accurate Medicaid eligibility determinations for Ohio's youth in custody. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medicaid eligibility determination and strong organizational skills to innovate business processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two Customer Service Managers and their teams responsible for Medicaid eligibility determinations.
• Ensure timely and accurate eligibility determinations are made confidentially.
• Support teams to meet processing goals including daily, weekly, and monthly timelines.
• Maintain frequent communication with team members, managers, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completion of graduate core program in business, management, public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science, or public finance.
• 12 months of experience in health services program delivery or project management, including health care data analysis and eligibility determination.
• Current and valid license as a registered nurse if overseeing clinical appropriateness of services.
