About the position

This independent contractor role at Kids First Services focuses on expanding the organization's presence and reach by establishing connections with key referral sources, promoting services in targeted school districts and counties, and supporting the recruitment and initial operations of new staff. The position requires proactive engagement with various stakeholders to enhance service visibility and facilitate recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish connections with two school districts.
• Reach out to identified school districts to add Kids First to their resource lists.
• Attend school fairs to promote Kids First services.
• Engage with parent mentors and Special Education (SPED) staff within the districts.
• Reach out to psychologists and doctors to inform them about Kids First services.
• Establish working relationships with clinics as referral sources for clients.
• Identify four to five counties for outreach and engagement.
• Facilitate introductions of the CEO and Clinical Director to key referral sources.
• Recruit and hire Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Assist in recruiting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) by attending relevant events.
• Conduct intakes and assessments for incoming BCBAs and new clients.

Requirements

• Experience in outreach and engagement with educational institutions and healthcare providers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish connections with various stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct assessments and intakes for clients and staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with special education services and resources.
• Experience in recruitment and hiring processes for behavioral health positions.
