About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and installing plant equipment at an industrial laundromat. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions, particularly in relation to steam-operated equipment such as industrial washing machines and dryers. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and diagnosing equipment deficiencies
• Ordering parts and performing equipment repairs
• General maintenance and upkeep of the plant
• Cleaning and organizing of work station
• Test running equipment after repairs have been performed
• Records services and repairs performed on equipment
• Unloads new equipment off truck using forklift
• Installs new equipment in laundry plant
• Follow lockout and tag out procedures / general safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous maintenance technician experience required
• Previous electrical experience required
• Previous plumbing experience required
• Must be over the age of 18
• Previous welding experience preferred
• Previous experience may be substituted with educational / vocational training equivalent
