Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and gather necessary information for medical records.
• Verify insurance information and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks for data entry and management.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in medical office management practices.
• Experience with insurance verification processes.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or medical receptionist is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care and support to patients throughout their visit.
