About the position
The Inventory Control Clerk at The Larson Group Peterbilt is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of proper parts and inventory levels. This role is crucial for ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and managed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering received parts orders into the computer system.
- Monitors inventory levels and performs routine and emergency stock orders.
- Maintains customer back-order file.
- Investigate/resolve cost, delivery, quantity/quality problems.
- Controls and maintains all purchase orders as well as any special orders and returns.
- Responsible for making sure parts catalogs, price books, and all other media are current.
- Tracks all lost sales, new parts, and pricing.
- Enter all inventory adjustments and additions into the system and process invoices for payment.
- Maintains bin reports and ensures CDK database is up to date and accurate.
- Reviews morning audit reports.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Should possess a High School diploma.
- College degree or equivalent education from a trade school is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
