About the position

This part-time caregiver position at Right at Home Kalamazoo involves providing compassionate care to individuals with dementia. The role requires a sympathetic attitude and the ability to work flexible hours, primarily in the mornings. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to seniors and adults with dementia.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• High school degree or G.E.D. certificate.
• Experience in dementia care is necessary.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to drive up to 10 miles to clients' homes.
• Availability every other weekend, with a commitment of 3-4 days per week.
