About the position

HelloSubs is seeking substitute teachers for the 2024-2025 school year, offering K-12 and Early Childhood assignments. This role is designed for both new and experienced teachers who want to make a positive impact in their community while enjoying flexible scheduling and the opportunity for permanent placements in partner schools across the Philadelphia metro area.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for K-12 and Early Childhood classes as needed.
• Support students in their learning and development during assignments.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
• Engage with students and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reporting as required by the school.

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of teaching experience preferred; less can be considered.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• If no Bachelor's, 1+ years of teaching experience is required.
• Teaching/sub license is helpful but not required.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
