About the position

The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Nobelpharma America will oversee the Northwest Region of the United States, focusing on large regional institutional healthcare customers that provide care for rare diseases, particularly Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). The KAM will manage key accounts, develop relationships with healthcare providers, and collaborate with various teams to facilitate brand strategy and market access.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact with large comprehensive care centers/clinics for TSC patients.
  • Develop and manage key account relationships with physician practices and institutional facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with management, brand leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, and Legal teams on pricing and contract strategies.
  • Conduct Business Reviews with key accounts to drive product utilization.
  • Work with Medical Affairs and Marketing to build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Conduct product presentations and organize technical presentations for formulary committees.
  • Participate in trade shows and other relevant events.
  • Develop regional Plan of Action (POA) and implement brand strategy.
  • Create and implement a Key Account Management strategy aligned with territory account plans.
  • Maintain accurate account information in CRM and prepare performance reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or life sciences is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/life-sciences industry with 5 or more years in key account management.
  • Understanding of FDA and PhRMA promotional requirements and compliance regulations.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and access issues in healthcare is required.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in dermatology, specialty, or rare disease is preferred.

  • Understanding of pharma strategies for private payor.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare/pharmaceutical product purchasing and reimbursement processes.
