About the position
The Land Survey CAD Technician position at Finch & Associates is designed for an experienced individual to support the geomatics team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers significant growth potential and involves processing field survey data, preparing various types of mapping, and assisting in the production of engineering drawings. The technician will be expected to adhere to technical policies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Process field survey data.
- Prepare complete property & topographic mapping.
- Perform computations for construction layouts.
- Prepare As Built and ALTA Mapping.
- Assist with the production of surveying, design, and/or engineering drawings and documents.
- Follow technical aspects and policies of the department and company.
Requirements
- One year experience using Autodesk or Carlson software.
- Work experience in the surveying field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team.
- Flexible and forward thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
