About the position

The Lead Business Functional Analyst - Vice President role at Deutsche Bank involves leading the development of modern web-based user interfaces for a critical payments system. Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and development of modern web-based user interfaces.
• Mentor and teach others through training or coaching, setting a good engineering example.
• Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis, and design.
• Engage in hands-on coding, automation testing, and code reviews.
• Plan and direct UI work of yourself and more junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with other UI professionals throughout the Bank to contribute to the larger body of knowledge and standards.

Requirements

• Extensive, recent hands-on experience with React, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Node.js, securing web applications, automated testing, and ability to create wireframes or other design artifacts.
• High standards and a commitment to deliver quality engineering work on an Agile team.
• Driven to constantly learn and research new technologies.
• Ability to plan complex projects, document and explain plans/roadmaps, and gather feedback.
• Bachelor's degree in an equivalent field.

Nice-to-haves

• Domain experience with payments, banking, finance, or in another highly regulated environment is a plus.
