About the position

The Lead Global Application Owner is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Orchestr8 (O8) system configurations to meet business requirements, thereby enhancing the supply chain for Fortune Brands Innovations. This role involves collaboration across global supply chain levels to promote governance and achieve sustainable outcomes in customer experience, cost, and inventory productivity. The position is hybrid, based in North Olmsted, Ohio, and focuses on creating value through improved supply chain performance and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Gatekeeper of overall O8 configuration integrity.
  • Ensure O8 system configurations are accurate and meet business requirements.
  • Maintain the master configuration document and keep it updated.
  • Act as the first contact point for power-users, planners, and buffer managers regarding system configuration questions.
  • Partner with O8 and FBIN IT to seek guidance and solve problems.
  • Manage Jira tickets with internal and software teams.
  • Provide governance oversight and expertise to buffer managers and planners related to configurations.
  • Oversee diagnosis of major issues to enable user self-sufficiency.
  • Develop and validate analytics products to advance business processes in collaboration with various teams.
  • Deep dive into specific problems to analyze and identify solutions impacting service levels and inventory.
  • Provide feedback to impacted members of the organization to brainstorm and communicate solutions.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement analyses and actions in O8.
  • Convene the Change Review Board for key recommended changes to the configuration and document decisions.
  • Provide key configuration decision support to DDP implementation project team for various business units.
  • Lead buffer calculations, forward plan validation, and master data validation for new implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of supply chain planning experience in roles of increasing responsibility, including continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience utilizing an ERP system (SAP or Oracle preferred) is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity to investigate and validate data.
  • Ability to function in highly varied and complex non-routine situations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience utilizing Orchestr8 (O8), DDMRP or other advanced planning software preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory modeling, master data management, supply chain systems, DDMRP buffer management, Lean/pull replenishment planning.
  • SQL and database skills preferred.
  • Supply Chain expertise gained through training, certification, and/or industry associations (e.g., APICS CSCP, Gartner Membership, edX courses, Demand Driven Institute - DDPP, DDLP, etc).
