About the position

The Learning Experience Designer II role at Robert Half focuses on enhancing compliance learning assets and e-learning courses within the HR department. This position is responsible for creating engaging and accessible learning experiences that meet international legal standards and language requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to design, develop, and evaluate learning content, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • Curate learning content and partner with designers for translations/validations.
  • Collaborate with designers and HR Technology LMS team for content management.
  • Moderate social learning/discussion boards and participate in user testing.
  • Partner with assessment and effectiveness teams to evaluate and improve content experiences.
  • Promote and update global training campaigns and programs.
  • Identify cultural trends to enhance user experience and tools.
  • Define learning solutions using formal design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Design learning experiences for blended and virtual classrooms.
  • Execute small scale global initiatives, managing translations and content adaptations.
  • Establish relationships and manage expectations with stakeholders.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for learning implementation.
  • Maintain deployed learning solutions according to established plans.
  • Build and maintain formal project plans for all projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or comparable knowledge from an ID role or 5+ years of Robert Half experience.
  • 1-4 years of instructional design experience.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Graphic/visual design skills.
  • Experience with Storyline/Articulate and other design tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to recognize relevant learning assets based on objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Canva, SnagIT/Camtasia, or other screen casting/video editing software.
  • Familiarity with virtual classroom platforms.
  • Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and animation software (After Effects/Vyond).
  • Experience with video/audio production software.
