About the position
The Logistics Stand Up Forklift / Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for preparing products for shipment using powered industrial equipment. This role involves operating equipment safely, selecting and preparing products for shipping, replenishing stock, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires adherence to safety standards and corporate Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial equipment such as Cherry Pickers and pallet jacks safely.
- Select and prepare products for shipment.
- Replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety standards and corporate Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Compliance with PPE standards, including wearing steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
