About the position
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school district in Drexel Hill, PA for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position will start on January 2nd, 2025, and will primarily involve working onsite at a middle school. The role is essential for supporting the mental health and educational needs of students within the school environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' mental health.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state license in School Psychology.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist.
