About the position
The Loss Prevention Manager at Hyatt Centric French Quarter is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel property, assets, guests, and associates. This role emphasizes dependability, reliability, and a calm demeanor, focusing on providing a safe environment for both guests and team members while maintaining a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and protect hotel assets.
- Answer house calls and assist guests and employees regarding safety, security, and hotel operations.
- Initiate and follow up on all investigations of crimes committed against the hotel and individuals.
- Assist sick or injured guests or employees, ensuring proper documentation and report disposition.
- Write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion, and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors, and employees.
- Document all necessary contacts at the hotel and Concord.
- Maintain accurate records while performing basic duties including camera monitoring, shift activity logs, and employee and guest binder interactions.
- Assist supervisor in checking alarm systems and safety/fire department systems, closely monitoring security of building doors, service areas, and delivery areas.
