About the position

The Managed Care Revenue Cycle Support Specialist at CommuniCare Health Services plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporate and Field Revenue Cycle team. This position involves managing and reporting on Clearinghouse activities, providing backup support for revenue cycle software, and developing tools to enhance operational efficiency. The specialist will collaborate with various departments and assist in claims projects, ensuring effective communication and data management within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on Clearinghouse activities.
  • Provide backup support to Corporate Revenue Cycle Software Support (Point Click Care).
  • Develop Quick Reference Guide tools for Clearinghouse and PCC Tips.
  • Perform data pulls for external and internal auditors.
  • Review Write Offs for appropriateness and assist in importing Write Offs when approved.
  • Review PCC Payer set up requests prior to sending to CDMCARS for approval.
  • Assist with EFT by collaborating with Cash Reconciliation Specialists.
  • Set up ERA as requested by the Revenue Cycle team.
  • Extract data from OCC on payer and identify potential issues.
  • Assist with claims projects in collaboration with the Revenue Cycle team.

Requirements

  • Experience in Point Click Care and Clearinghouses preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Smartsheet.
  • 3-5 years of strong business office cash reconciliation and accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in accounting preferred.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Point Click Care / Quadax Software required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Strong task management and organizational skills, understanding priorities.
  • Displays a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to develop and provide analytical reports.
