About The Position

The Manufacturing Assembly Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the assembly of parts and components in compliance with health and safety procedures. This position involves using various tools and equipment to perform assembly tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency.
• Flexibility with work schedule and duties, including overtime.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pneumatic tools, and various hand tools or heavy equipment, or the demonstrated ability to learn.
• Conversant with engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to use repetitive motions.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and climb.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
• Perform labor operations such as assembling and sub-assembling parts, components, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate overhead cranes, manipulators, and assembly equipment.
• Learn standardized processes for all assembly operations.
• Apply problem-solving tools and techniques to assist in the elimination of defects in assembly.
• Advise and recommend processes and procedures to improve safety and quality.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the Manager.
