About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician position at Fortira Inc. involves working in a cleanroom environment to support routine manufacturing assignments. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 0-1 years of cGMP manufacturing experience or equivalent work experience or education.
• Proven experience working on teams with a focus on collaboration and results.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based applications.
• Attention to detail and personal accountability are critical for success.
• Good interpersonal skills, attentive and approachable.

Nice To Haves

• Some college education preferred.
• Some work experience in a related field preferred.
• Science or Engineering education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works on routine manufacturing assignments per written procedures, recognizing deviations from accepted practices.
• Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
• Weighs and checks raw materials, assembles, cleans, and sanitizes process equipment, and monitors processes.
• Completes work instructions and maintains a clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Trains for proficiency in the operation of primary production equipment within the assigned functional area.
• Trains for proficiency in process systems and some supporting business systems.
• Assists with the revision and/or creation of process documents, such as SOPs and electronic work instructions.
• Assists in maintaining material and components inventory levels.
• Supports a safe work environment.
• Works in teams and interacts with other manufacturing teams throughout the production process.
