About the position

The Manufacturing Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely flow of materials and components within the production process at a leading plastic semiconductor manufacturing facility. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track the status of materials and components to ensure their availability for production.
• Work closely with supply chain, warehouse, and production teams to resolve material shortages or delays.
• Expedite the movement of raw materials, work orders, and finished goods as needed to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the manufacturing process, recommending solutions to maintain workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while handling materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or expediting role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using inventory tracking systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus.
