About the position

The Market Director of Provider Relations is responsible for supporting and executing market initiatives aimed at achieving organic growth and improving access to healthcare delivery. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with providers, promoting expansion through stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with various teams to enhance service line development and community awareness of healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Support market/hospital leaders and outreach team members to align and achieve goals by establishing and maintaining provider relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate strategic service line and outreach efforts, leveraging appropriate data and ensuring consistent communication of goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure quarterly updates are developed and validated in alignment with market strategies and initiatives in coordination with Market/Hospital leadership.
  • Support market leadership in strategic planning by providing insights on provider preferences and service line growth opportunities.
  • Maintain the structure and integrity of the Corporate Provider Relations program, including growth strategies and best practice sharing.
  • Ensure timely documentation by Provider Relations team members for provider calls and issue resolution management.
  • Collaborate weekly with Market/Hospital CEOs to discuss trends, business growth opportunities, and results from Provider Relations outreach activities.
  • Support market/hospital and outreach team members in overcoming barriers to growth by obtaining feedback from providers and agencies to improve access and outcomes.
  • Interact and coordinate necessary meetings and assessments of the Provider Relations team to align efforts with hospital/market strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, or Healthcare related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive healthcare experience with three (3) years in management/leadership roles.
  • Clinical Sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to research and explain healthcare service line volumes and market demographic data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CRM/PRM platforms and Claims Data Software.
  • Strong persuasive communication skills and emotional intelligence.
