About the position
The Market Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a storage center within a designated territory. This role involves managing associates, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The manager will also handle operational excellence, financial management, and employee performance, while fostering a culture aligned with the company's core values.
Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations of storage centers and associates.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain top talent.
- Provide daily support and coaching for associates.
- Manage customer experience to meet or exceed CSAT and DSAT goals.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Manage corporate assets within the territory, including trucks and equipment.
- Communicate operational delays to Sales and Serve Center.
- Conduct regular pre-shift meetings with team members.
- Ensure safe and organized storage centers and staging areas.
- Perform driver functions when necessary.
Requirements
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior management experience.
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B License or higher preferred.
- Must maintain a current/valid driver license from the state of assignment.
- Must be able to obtain PODS forklift certification.
- Possession of a valid DOT medical card preferred.
- Mechanical ability to identify equipment problems.
