About the position

The Marketing and Events Coordinator will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, engaging clients, and executing events seamlessly. This role merges creative marketing strategies with hands-on event planning and social media management to elevate the brand's presence. The coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to create memorable experiences for guests and promote wellness offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and print channels to promote spa treatments, wellness programs, and special events.
  • Maintain brand consistency and uphold Five Elements' luxury image in all marketing materials, messaging, and promotions.
  • Create compelling written and visual content, including social media posts, newsletters, and blog articles, to engage new and existing audiences.
  • Identify strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and wellness professionals to expand brand reach and foster community engagement.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute a variety of events in our dedicated wellness space, such as seminars, workshops, expos, meet-and-greets, and private functions.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, décor, A/V needs, catering, and registration processes, to ensure each event runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with instructors, guest speakers, vendors, and internal staff to deliver exceptional event experiences.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and maintain inventories of promotional and operational materials.
  • Curate, manage, and grow the spa's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) by producing engaging, on-brand content and fostering an online community.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and emerging best practices to keep content fresh, relevant, and aligned with audience interests.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and encourage online interactions that reflect the spa's values and strengthen its reputation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or social media management, ideally within a wellness, hospitality, or luxury brand environment preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling brand stories.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic graphic design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude, and a genuine interest in wellness and holistic living.
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
