About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Amcor is responsible for managing exhibitions in North America and executing various marketing projects related to product launches, innovations, and local promotions. This role supports the local Sales Americas team and reports to the Marketing and Communication manager. The position plays a crucial role in enhancing the company's marketing efforts and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage local exhibitions (4 to 6 events a year) including content, logistics, and samples.
• Measure the impact of events and set up evaluations with stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and implement local marketing projects as part of the marketing plan.
• Support the communication project leader in adapting promotional documents locally.
• Train local sales teams on Amcor offers.
• Plan, organize, and execute the Annual Capsules Sales Meeting in the Americas.
• Act as a marketing partner during innovation meetings with customers and develop partnership events with distributors.
• Promote strategic product offers for the North and South American market.
• Interact with various teams including Communication, R&D, plants, and sales teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
• Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
• Strong organization and planning skills for event management.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Packaging experience is useful but not a prerequisite.
