About the position

The Marketing Director at TrustedSec will lead innovative marketing initiatives focused on promoting cybersecurity consulting services. This role requires a deep connection to the information security community and a proven track record in marketing, emphasizing the value of services such as penetration testing and incident response. The director will oversee the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns, manage a talented team, and collaborate with technical experts to create impactful messaging that drives business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's services
• Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and advertising
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in messaging and branding
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
• Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies
• Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of services
• Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive service pricing
• Manage and motivate a team of marketing professionals to achieve daily objectives and reach business goals
• Communicate any issues with upper management to ensure effective business operations
• Compose, develop, evaluate, and conduct training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies
• Collaborate, participate in, and coordinate promotional activities or trade shows
• Negotiate contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• 10+ years experience in marketing, information security, or technical consulting industries
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
• Previous work experience as a team leader or supervisor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical copy and create content
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell services
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets
